 Unlike instruction at the elementary and middle school levels, music at the high school level does not include small group or individual technical instruction. Private instruction is therefore essential for students who intend to reach the most advanced musical ensembles at SCN.

Fortunately the music department retains a highly qualified staff of private instructors who are fully endorsed by the district. These people are former public school teachers and/or hold degrees in music performance. Their extensive knowledge will be of great benefit to your child, and you will have the added convenience of taking care of private instruction during the school day. Rates vary by instructor and length of lesson.
