Concert Attire Requirements for Orchestra, Choir, and all Concert Bands: 

These items are worn at every concert and performance by our music groups throughout all four years of high school. 

Students should check concert attire each August and weeks before every concert to make sure that they have all parts, that it still fits, and that the attire is clean and in good condition.  

GIRLS— 

• Official SCN Music Black concert dress—fitted by you after receipt* and paid for during uniform/concert attire fitting in August.  

• Black nylons and black closed-toe shoes--purchased on your own. 

*Students hem their own concert attire. 

BOYS-

• Black Tuxedo Pants and White Tuxedo Shirt—fitted by you after receipt* and purchased during uniform/concert attire fitting in August. 

• Black Bow Tie—available at the school store 

• Black dress shoes and black calf socks (not ankle socks)—purchased on your own. 

BOYS IN AN AUDITIONED CLASSICAL GROUP OR ANY CHOIR

• Add black Tuxedo Jacket—fitted* and purchased during uniform/concert attire fitting in August. 

*Students hem their own concert attire. 

Students in an Auditioned Jazz Group (Jazz "Band" is non-auditioned and concert attire will be determined when school begins).

We wear all-black. Purchase items on your own (boys may use the tux jacket and pants if they wish). 

Marching Band: 

• GAME Uniform: 

• SCN Marching Band Uniform—All band students fitted and pay uniform cleaning fee during uniform/concert attire fitting in August. 

• SCN Official Marching Band Shoes— fitted and purchased during uniform/concert attire fitting in August. 

• White Gloves—Purchase at School Store 

• Black Calf Socks (not ankle socks)—purchased on your own 

• Parade Uniform: 

• SCN Music Blue Polo and White Ball Cap—purchase at the school store 

• Black dress pants and black calf socks (not ankle socks)—purchased on your own 

• Official Black Marching Band Shoes (do not substitute your own).
