The St Charles North Central Boosters sponsored a Trivia Night last Saturday Night at Amici's Clubhouse in South Elgin . The Trivia Night is a twice a year event with the proceeds going in support of the Central Boosters.
We, as Music Boosters have been fortunate to benefit from Central Booster grants and support in the form of new uniforms for marching band, needed new equipment and replacement of aging instruments.
The evening was a great success and fun for all, many music parents were scattered throughout the crowd supporting a sports team, but this year Music fielded it's own table as a Music team. We chose the name "The Blue Notes" for our team. The Blue Notes was a diverse and strong mix of people and this proved to be a great advantage. The Blue Notes took the lead early and kept it all night! Yea team!
We as music boosters would like to try and support this event in greater numbers. Many sport teams fielded several tables and with the large number of music parents we could too. Please consider joining in next time, it was a fun evening, lots of laughter, good competition and all in a good cause.
Bill and Lynn Stockton won a round of "If you've never" and donated their monetary winnings back to Central Boosters from FOM. Thank you, Lynn and Bill.
A big thanks to the Central Boosters for running a great event and coping with the competitive instincts that come to the fore in "games". We all like to win!
